A Web site launched last week is designed to be a one-stop shop for citizens seeking information on news items, features, calendar events, videos, job openings, contact information, and social networking pages. The Web site, springfieldsource.org, is the product of a partnership effort between Springfield-Greene County's major government, education institutions, and collaborative human-services networks. The partnered organizations chose leading web design firm Team Media LLC (www.TeamMediaLLC.com) to develop the website that Promotes the Positive in Springfield Missouri. Team Media LLC has done site development and design for clients such as Windblown Media, publisher of the New York Times Best Selling Book, The Shack, The Orlando Sports Foundation, Fujah.com, and former Missouri State Treasurer, Sarah Steelman.
"We were delighted to work with these partnered organizations who help make Springfield Missouri one of the best places to live in the country," said George J Lamelza III, CEO of Team Media LLC.
Partners include the City of Springfield, City Utilities, Community Foundation of the Ozarks, Drury University, Evangel University, Greene County, Missouri State University, Ozarks Technical Community College, Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Springfield-Greene County Library, Springfield Public Schools, and United Way of the Ozarks. Springfield-Greene County citizens may access the Web site, www.springfieldsource.org, daily for news updates and are encouraged to subscribe to the site's bi-weekly electronic newsletter.
